About

With over 20 years in education, I am highly skilled, trained, and dedicated. My experiences are vast including teaching elementary through college, being a principal, writing curriculum, assessing students, and being an active team member of hundreds of student IEP cases. Math is my top content passion, and I also enjoy helping students strengthen their writing and study skills. I love seeing the ah-ha moment and helping students build confidence. For families, I can assess your child, share insights, develop a plan of support, provide teaching, remediate and extend/enrich. I have tremendous experience with special education and gifted education. For adults, I LOVE helping refine resumes and cover letters to help you showcase your strengths and I coach educators and school leaders. I hold a BS in elementary education from Towson University, MS in education leadership from Johns Hopkins, and am working on my Ed.D at George Washington University. I am also Nationally Board Certified in Early Adolescent Mathematics. I can’t wait to work with you!
