Thumbtack DOES CHARGE , for each Pro selected . Which is sometimes costly for us , Therefore to make this app work I have to charge a $50 estimating fee, this fee will be taking off the total amount after the work is finalized ;however, if you choose someone else or change your mind the $50 is charged and non refundable , this is for time spent on estimate , fuel ,a partial payment, thumbtack charges . Please have an idea what you are looking to get done ,if not completely sure just put, electric repair.
This will be discussed much more elaborate through a phone conversation shortly after you choose your Top Pro .

Believe me when i say i actually care more about my work performance and integrity than the money .
I just like all my customers to understand that for us contractor we grt charged from every lead ,marketing cost money and i have no problem paying for leads.
That said , I had a past customer that did not know what the problem was and listed numerous items down , i was charged close to $400 , this consisted of changing a dryer outlet from a three prong to a four prong . So needless to say I ended up paying for this . Not fare to charge a customer for this nor its not in my heart . Not there fault for putting down what she thought was needed . Thumbtack did not hesitate to take mine though , or did they reimburse me anything for this .
Like I said earlier please if unsure just put something as basic as possible down .I will call you ASAP.
So yes this is who I am . An honest hard working guy who is up front with everyone . I use the principles that i was brought up with . Also have a bit of OCD which I use to benefit my electrical work .
There is a reason i get customers for life . I do not advertise except for what customers reviews say . Most All of my work I do is through word of mouth , as well as my return customers and from this they share to friends and family as well .
That being said , Love what i do and enjoy seeing people happy with my work . I have been an electrician for almost 30 years and love what I do . I Like to be neat and take great pride in my work.
