FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing system is based on the demand for a particular day or date. Saturday evenings from Memorial Day to labor Day weekend are premium days. There is a higher demand for these days, so my pricing is Firm.Fridays are next and Sundays after that,I am more Flexible with price depending on the details of the job. If you really want a good deal- have an event on a weekday!
- What types of customers have you worked with?
My most common jobs are birthday parties 40yr and 50yr- these are Milestone years so many people want to celebrate with a gathering of 100 ppl or so at a banquet hall. Usually classy catered affairs not totally unlike a wedding but more casual.Uplighting is a great choice for events like these.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
How much time a good Dj actually has to devote to his profession even when he is not working. I also wish Customers actually considered how much time it really takes a dj to service a 4 hr event.Load up -Travel to-Load in - set up -service event - tear down- load out- travel home -unload gear. 4hr event = 7hrs dj work time MINIMUM
