Jorge and his team did absolutely fantastic work converting our downstairs into a bedroom with standard closet, as well as taking care of some other things in the house. Very detailed, precise, with lots of care. His experience was evident. Very kind and flexible as well. He takes his time and makes sure everything is fine-tuned, so if you aren’t in a rush, he is the perfect contractor for you!

I am very happy to have hired Smart Hammer to remodel my bathroom. Not only did they do a very neat job and fulfill my wishes, they also improved my project by bringing in new ideas and making my bathroom more functional. The team was very professional and meticulous. During the works they were very careful with my furniture, kept the place clean every day and complied with the rules of the condominium for the execution of works. Judging by the result, Smart Hammer was the best choice in terms of quality/price. I would highly recommend them.

Smart Hammer LLC. is an excellent, efficient, and trust-worthy contracting company and we highly-recommend hiring them for your home renovations and repairs. We approached Jorge with several ideas for renovations around our town home: creating a raised garden along our fence-line, adding recessed lights to the living room, installing a picture window into our kitchen, and finishing the unfinished basement to create a finished laundry room and office space. Jorge made our vision come to life, and it’s better than we could have hoped! Jorge made several excellent recommendations surrounding the design of the different renovations. When we told him that we wanted a finished office, he was able to maximize the space and developed the design so that the office included a reading nook, floor to ceiling bookshelf, and heated floors. We were concerned about the storage we were losing with the newly finished rooms, so Jorge came up with a way to include a storage closet in the finished laundry room, and it has worked wonderfully. Although all the renovations have been wonderful, our favorite has been the addition of the window in the kitchen. It was amazing to see how they were able to carefully remove the siding, cut out a large section of the wall, and install the windows all in a good day’s work. We will surely be keeping in touch with Mr. Rojas and hiring him again for any and all future work.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

    It begins with the client reaching out to schedule a free consultation for the project they'd like to have done. We meet at the scheduled location and we walk through the site while the client explains all the work they would like to do. From there, our company will create an estimate (Materials and Labor Costs) of how much the project will cost. All estimates are free and come at no charge. After the client receives our estimate, they then decide whether or not to go through with the project.
