Hi! I'm George, a recent graduate of Virginia Tech with a degree in Music Pedagogy and Music Performance for guitar. I’ve played electric and acoustic guitar for 15 years, and have played in bands across the DMV area. I specialize in Jazz, Blues, and Pop, but can learn and teach just about anything! Most of my students range from 5 to 20 years old, but I have also taught a number of adults.

George not only teaches you how to play great songs, but also the theory behind them along with the techniques to properly perform them. This means that with George, you build up a strong foundational skillset that you can apply anywhere with the guitar which is fitting for the many styles of music he can teach. His creativity spills over onto students, and you will quickly find yourself being able to produce cool licks and chord progressions, as well as be able to improvise like you never thought you could.
