When your call came through, the caller ID displayed the name Austin Alfred. Your name is Olympia, so we had no way of knowing it was you calling. Because of that, we asked how we could help—this is a standard question we ask every caller, regardless of whether we’ve previously communicated by text. We’re sorry if that question offended you; it was not intended to be rude. However, during the phone conversation, the tone became disrespectful, which led us to determine that it would not be a good fit to move forward. To clarify the scope issue: about one to two weeks ago, you asked if we could come out to measure for blinds you wanted to install. We provided a quote of $175 for that service and were told you would get back to us. At this time, our schedule does not allow us to return to the project solely to perform measurements, and that is the reason we declined—not because the work itself was outside our capabilities. We always aim to be respectful of our clients’ time and our own scheduling commitments. We wish you the best with your project moving forward.
