My name is Deana. I am the owner of Pearl Cleaning. I have more than 30 years in the cleaning industry. I am bonded and insured and my business is registered in the state of Maryland. However, I can work in other states.
I believe a big part of customer satisfaction is communication. My goal is to have my customers 100% satisfied. After the walkthrough, I email my customers a detailed list of the cleaning that will be done to assure we are on the same page. I then work from that list to assure that the customers' needs are met. I also enjoy the organizing part of my business, which pairs nicely with the cleaning. I love seeing the most cluttered areas transformed into a neat, functional area. Afterwards, the customer may choose to have the home deep cleaned.
As an oganizer, I use certain tested principles and expertise to bring order to the lives of my clients. I can help you purge items, sort, and find permanent homes for them so that you can find your items when you need them. We will also work with you to maintain your success after the initial organizing sessions.
I have worked with extreme cases of clutter, and there is nothing I have not seen, so please don't be embarrassed.

Deauna is an amazing person and organizer! I was in need of an extreme garage clean out and was fortunate enough to find and review her profile and ratings on thumbtack. I am now among the people who would highly recommend her and her services because she is phenomenal at what she does !!! Firstly , she is personable and so very patient which is needed when you are working with a “husband”that can see every single item in his hoard as recyclable. She and her assistant made the struggle manageable because of the way in which they infused humor into the situation.These two ladies worked non stop for hours to clear my garage of what seemed to be an impossible hoard . To say the garage was cluttered is an understatement. My before and after pictures show how life changing this session really was. I can now park my car inside of my garage which was the goal! Very efficient and friendly team of ladies. They helped to clean up and organize most of the rooms in my house within 4 hours. I hired them to help after moving into a new place, and boxes and various items were everywhere. Now, things are unpacked and put away in sensible places. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I must say up front that it is most difficult to price a job sight unseen mostly all professional never price a job without seeing it, so my price is only an estimate. When I come out to your home to do a walk thru I will give you a final price. However, I will try to stick as close as possible to my quoted price, I have gotten generous tips from the home owners that really appreciate the work being done, thanks in advance for your understanding in this matter
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to talk to the customer on the phone first, I will not come to your home without talking to you first, usually scammers will not have a ligetimate number to communicate from ,my husband always comes with me as he assures my safety depending on the size of the job I have three girls that work with me. I will always give you a definite price prior to starting the job so you will not have to worry about being surprised.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
well,I haven't been to cleaning school 🙂 but I have had extensive training in dealing with people, I have been a part of a theocratic training school for over 50 years I will tell you about that when we meet. that school, teachers me to be a good listener this has helped me to communicate with people, I not only hear what a person says but I especially hear what they are not saying, this has helped me with my cleaning business.
