I take a blue-collar approach to the practice of law. I was born and raised in Erie, Pennsylvania. My father was a police officer and my mother was a nurse. I served four years enlisted in the Marine Corps. I put my nose to the grindstone for my clients. The practice of law has been good to me. My business model is pretty simple: just satisfy the customers that you already got and the rest will take care of itself. I have been practicing for over ten years and so far it is working out. I know it sounds contrived but I really do enjoy all aspects of the job. It can be exhausting but is rewarding. I like meeting new clients, developing strategy, playing the role of investigator, issuing subpoenas and uncovering evidence and really getting to the bottom of things. I also like to move my cases forward, especially the family cases. We can talk for hours about specific case strategy but I take a blue-collar approach to the execution of the gameplan. Sometimes the work is not necessarily all that enjoyable. Part of the job of the attorney is to read the fine print and search through the documents and records and make sense of it all. It can be painstaking work but if it will benefit the case then we go to work.
