Introduction: I have extensive experience teaching students from various socioeconomic backgrounds, and always try to teach "up" to a student rather than teaching "down" to them. I started martial arts as a chubby little 7 year old, so I know what it feels like to be awkward and self-conscious. I love seeing a student of any age or ability get excited about learning a new technique or skill, and the glow that comes from a student when they begin to feel empowered.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I go to classes of my own several days a week, and go to at least 3 tournaments a year.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
After teaching for a few years and getting my black belt, I really have come to thrive on the feeling of making students better.
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
There is not much money to be made in teaching martial arts. I teach because I love martial arts, and I want others to love it too!
