- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started working as an installer for my parents when I was 16 years old. After going to school I returned to the family business and eventually my wife and I took over in 2012.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Stop in one of our two Showroom locations and SEE what our work looks like. See how we do the cloth, the rails, and the level on our display tables. Talk to a master Technician while you are there, we are more than happy to walk you through your options.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
There are no certifications or schools in this industry. Every company relies on their reputation, repeat business, and word of mouth. Most guys who advertise as Pool Table Service Experts are former employees of a reputable company like mine whom we fired for not meeting our standards of work. After we have to let them go they start a little service business out of their truck or garage and attempt to undercut us on price. They are almost always out of business within a few years.
