About
Training dogs is a relatively easy accomplishment if you know the secrets. I share these secrets and educate my clients on how to communicate with their dogs to get the reactions they desire. Training and learning for a dog is a lifelong event and the tools I leave with my clients posture them to be successful in all future desired training. Training and obedience is actually a byproduct once you establish the proper "owner and dog" relationship. This is a simple philosophy which works wonders and so many dog owners are not aware of. My biggest pleasure is seeing a client grow closer to their dog once they have developed this relationship.
I have a great passion for dogs and unfortunately many dogs end up in shelters because of problems that developed in which their owners don't know how to address. Whenever I can educate dog owners why a dog does the things he does and how to stop it, I am saving a wonderful creature from possibly being turned over to a shelter. I volunteer at a shelter and I see many, many great dogs there that if I had a chance to talk with the owners beforehand, may have ended up differently. Any time I can improve a relationship between an owner and their dog, I am ecstatic.

Brian was excellent! His experience, knowledge and confidence were reflected in his work. He even stopped by to introduce himself to us and our dog prior to training. That is incredible. He provides training through positive reinforcement. He supplied an extensive training program that honed in on our dogs specific problems. He not only trained our dog but us as well. I felt like Cesar Millan was in the house!! We continue to use the techniques he taught us. Jubilee's behavior and confidence has improved 100%. We will definitely hire him again and refer our family and friends. Money well spent.

I've had two sessions with Brain thus far and each session has been educational, successful, and fun. Brain is definitely in tune with animals, he does bring a calm, welcoming personality. Polo, my beagle/hound mix, took to him immediately. I can't emphasize enough how positive each of these sessions have been to help train/change high anxiety behavior into a positive calm receptive pet. Brain is a professional thru and thru, using all his devices to help navigate pet's personality/traits. He brings simple but vital information for owner's to use in their success in training their pet; BOY!!! what a success it has been for me. Polo has transformed from this overly anxious uncontrollable animal to a calm, disciplined, playful, happy lad!!! For that, I'm truly grateful to Brain for helping me achieve this goal. Brain is punctual, respectful of your home, and a true dog whisperer!!! I definitely recommend Brain for all your pet training needs.

Brian is absolutely wonderful. His training sessions were very thorough and he took the time to walk us through every step of the way. After just two sessions he taught us how to work with our dog moving forward, and we have already seen a big change in our year-old dog's behavior. I would recommend him over and over again!

Brian was /is a great trainer he was on time and explained everything to us in detail , gave us great instructions and tools to train our dog Misty. We got her from a shelter and she had a barking/nipping at strangers issue. Brian took control right away and even when he left she was a lot better. Actually Misty cried sitting at the door when Brian left after only meeting her once, we are scheduled for more sessions to make her life more enjoyable .If you need a great trainer call Brian ..you and your pet will be glad you did ..... We rescued a presa canario who is (unsurprisingly) quite stubborn. Training her in the house was no problem, but time on leash was another story. We knew we needed help with this aspect of training and Brian's experience with other dominant breeds was a good sign for us. We appreciated his calm demeanor, patience, and professionalism. I think our dog will always be "in training," but we already see some improvement in her and Brian gave clear guidance which we continue to implement. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend him.

FAQs
What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing is unique to the individual client and dog and is based upon what the client wants and the personality of the dog. Not all dogs are the same and a training plan is built around the individual dog. Cost is set at a per session rate which is reduced for a multiple session training plan. A typical training plan usually consists of between 1 to 4 sessions.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My free evaluation gives me the opportunity to meet the client, get background information, evaluate the dog and then provide a training plan to achieve the desired results. This is also a great opportunity for the client to meet and evaluate me as a trainer before making their decision.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am certified in dog training and over the years I have volunteered at a number of rescue organizations. Each dog that I have worked with gave me a new experience to learn from. There are also a great many behaviorist in the world who are constantly publishing advances in the field and worthy of studying. As with trainers, their experiences are selflessly shared in order for others to learn through their mistakes or successes. Like a dog, a trainer is always learning also.
