We went through Thumbtack to find an electrician when we lost partial power, half the house had electricity - the other half was dead and the breakers had not been tripped. Two companies contacted us pretty quickly (Sunday) and offered to come out and take a look. Green Electric showed up first. Their rep took a look at the panel and changed out two breakers (no charge) then proceeded to tell me that our house was old and the wiring was of a type that is "impossible" to trace for faults. He worked up a quote to rewire our home($3600.00) provided we could come up with an asbestos inspection first (approx $500) - that company did not charge us for the breakers he replaced or the estimate. Then Mike Pleger arrived on time per our phone contact. I told him what our problem was and showed him where the panel was. He commenced to trace the fault methodically and professionally, locating the problem in the junction box above our kitchen ceiling fan. He repaired the fault and everything is working perfectly. He charged us his agreed upon rate and the bill was $165 - done. If you have an electrical problem and need an ELECTRICIAN, I recommend Mike Pleger, Electrician. He is a thorough, methodical professional. And a GOOD GUY.

Mike replied promptly to my message and came by to give me an estimate. He was very courteous and knowledgeable. I was very satisfied with the quote and he immediately began to do the work (which I was so surprised). Even though we came to some trouble because of how the building structure was, Mike found a solution and everything turned out better than expected. He stood by his quote even though more work was involved. I will definitely keep him in my contact.
