I called Red Carpet IT Solutions to come out and take a look at my 7-year old desktop computer which had run out of space on the C drive. Trey came out the next day and did his best to find a way to extend the life of the computer, but in the end, I needed a new desktop to meet my storage needs. RCIT (Red Carpet IT Solutions) researched possible options for me and came back with two good options within my budget and in stock. They were willing to work with me on the fee for their initial home visit, which I truly appreciated. Trey has been great at explaining the computer operation to a not-that-savvy computer user and has been both friendly and professional.
As a sole proprietor it is hard to find competent and responsive computer technical/IT help, so I'm glad that RCIT services the DMV and could help me with ongoing IT issues in the future. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing help with their computer.

I had an ex-great HP computer RCIT (Red Carpet IT Solutions ) came to diagnose and asked them to replace the fan. The fan was not working at all, and I had resorted to putting the computer on top of an icepack from my freezer in order to do any work at all. They had the computer for two days and returned it to me with a working fan (and an app that measures the computer's temperature!). The cost replacing the fan was not high, and I thought it was reasonable. The computer is restored it's former fantastic condition - and it works so well now! I also like the fact that they service the majority of the DMV area. Very convenient. However, now that I know they are a sound operation, I would highly recommend their services to get their help and expertise.

Fantastic service from RCIT. Trey helped me out, keeping me updated on everything he was working on. Got my computer (that was stuck in a blue screen reboot cycle) back up and running in less than 24 hours.

We asked Trey and the RCIT team to help us address problems with internet "dead spots" in our home as well as ensure a strong wireless signal for streaming TV. We were very happy with the options given and the quality of the installation work (as well as the courteousness of the team that did the install). We would definitely use RCIT again!
