The office confirmed appointment twice with me to get a quote. Jerry arrived for the appointment on time and was professional. I showed him what we wanted to do - replace our existing French doors. He said they only work with ProVia and were their preferred installers. We built the door we wanted together. He showed us a sales tool highlighting why ProVia doors were superior to others from Home Depot or Lowe’s. Spent about 20-30 mins presenting why ROI is a great company. Then came pricing. He gave a “anytime price good for the year”, a lesser “30 day price” and a “efficiency price” if we signed today. It was too high of a price and we asked for a breakdown of parts vs labor. He said he doesn’t have that and “no one has ever asked him for this.” I was shocked at that response and asked him how long he had been doing this - he said 3 years. I know when there is no transparency it’s a good sign they are trying to overcharge. I got quotes from two others and they were able to provide the price of the door and labor separately. ROI was 20% more expensive even with their “efficiency pricing”.

Just had ROI Construction come out to give us a quote and we ended up choosing them. First of all, the company was very responsive and quick to respond when we had initially reached out. Second, Mike D. was very professional, understanding and helpful in helping us figure out what door we should get. I enjoyed the brief he gave (pictures and all) and the transparency over price. I like the fact that we were able to customize the door to better suit our needs, which justified the quote we received. All in all, I will definitely be using the company again once I begin working on my other property. They are making the daunting process of home makeovers appear easy.
