We hired Trudy to do our wedding flowers. We had a small wedding and needed her to do 16 centerpieces, a bouquet, a boutonniere, and decorate the cake with flowers. We met with her once and she was able to get a good idea of what we wanted. When we stopped by to pick up the bouquet and boutonniere, we were blown away by what she was able to accomplish, especially within our budget. We were so excited for our wedding day (the next day). She greatly exceeded our expectations- when we got to the reception and saw how she set everything up, we were so thrilled. Her touch made the venue look elegant. And the cake! It was gorgeous. Trudy is an artist and she loves what she does- you can tell that she truly cares and that is what I think sets her apart from everyone else. I had a bunch of family in town and was running around like crazy otherwise I would have had her preserve my bouquet. It was so beautiful.

FAQs

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

Flowers are my passion. I love nature and seeing my customers excitement about my work.

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

I design bridal arrangements, holiday arrangements, funeral arrangements and preserve flower arrangements.

  • Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

I had a customer that tragically lost her father last year. She had previously dried flowers from her mothers funeral many years before. I took her fathers flowers and dried them and incorporated her previously dried flowers from her mothers funeral. I thought it was incredibly special that I was able to help my customer let her parents rest together in a beautiful arrangement that she will be able to enjoy for the rest of her life.
