Mike is a knowledgeable contractor with both a license and years of experience. I consulted with him about multiple projects in my home, including the installation of a new washer/dryer set that would be relocated from the basement to the second floor. It was very obvious that he was the right person for the job. He explained all the water line hookups, electrical requirements, and even preexisting conditions that were out of compliance. He knew the code and prioritized keeping to code. He's a contractor of Quality, not just there to make a paycheck. Not only did he educate me and make useful recommendations but he was very reasonably priced. I'll be working with A-1 Home Restoration again I'm sure!

I hired Mike to attach a pedestal to my washer/dryer combo. The job was completed, and I paid promptly. After returning from a short trip, I discovered the drawer was off track. I reached out with pictures, and we scheduled a follow-up. He didn’t show or call. He later said he was sick, so we rescheduled—again, no show, no communication. It’s been frustrating and inconvenient, especially since I haven’t been able to use my machine. Now I have to pay someone else to fix this issue. I’m disappointed in the lack of professionalism and follow-through. I expected better.
