FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I generally prefer to consult with a client first, to get an idea of the scope of the project. Each project is unique, so a cookie cutter price structure seems inappropriate.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When working with a new client, the most important thing is to get a clear understanding of what they want from their particular project. What story do they want to tell? What message do they wish to convey? Is the point just to document an event? All of these considerations help decide the best way to shoot a project. I like to speak with the client, in person where possible, until we come up with a plan to suit their particular project.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a graduate of The Sheffield Institute for the Recording Arts, near Baltimore. This was a comprehensive course of study, including the Pre-Production and Production phases (location scouting and set-up, lighting, and filming) as well as Post Production (Editing, Motion Graphics etc.)
