- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing for student services is dependent on services needed. Tutoring sessions are $20 per hour. Proofreading services for students is $0.02 per word. Email consultations (great if you'd like to try before you buy) are only $5 per communication, and are great for conquering writer's block. For Professionals/Job Seekers, we create résumés for $60, cover letters for $40, or both résumés and cover letters for $80 (savings of $20). For those who already have these documents, we revise résumés for $40, cover letters for $20, or both cover letters and résumés for $50 (savings of $10). Business copyediting or proofreading services are $6/250 words. For businesses looking to have us write their copy, we charge on a case-by-case basis, and we're willing to work with ANY budget.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
We most commonly work with students, businesses and professionals/job-seekers. Students who need proofreading services or writing and statistics tutoring have found us helpful. The assignments have included large literature reviews and research proposals. We have also helped with editing a digital magazine that is published monthly. We review each article with a "fine-tooth comb" for spelling errors, grammar and syntax issues. We have also assisted in restructuring articles and brainstorming headlines as needed. In addition, we have created resumes and cover letters for professionals currently on the market for a new job. That process includes a thorough assessment of the client's education, accomplishments and skill-set as it relates to the position they are seeking. Finally, we also write blog posts and articles on professional development, health and wellness, and lifestyle topics.
