Though you may not see it by merely looking at my profile, I’m a product of my country. As a 1st generation immigrant I’ve learned grit, determination, and most importantly how to treat a person. One of the today’s most knowledgeable and arguably most prominent licensed Journeymen in DC and Maryland, I have nearly a decade in the field. I attended Lincoln University with a Bachelors in Information Systems and Telecommunications but bridge that gap everyday by installing everything from cameras, electronic door locks, and lighting. We contacted Victor from VR Data Electric to repair and replace three exterior outlets on our home, all of which were in very bad shape. The original boxes were rusted, deteriorating, and not properly weather protected. Victor took the time to assess each outlet, explain what needed to be done, and make sure everything was brought up to proper exterior code standards. He replaced the old boxes with new surface-mounted weatherproof enclosures, installed new GFCI outlets, sealed everything thoroughly, and ensured the work was both safe and clean. The attention to detail really stood out. Victor didn’t rush, he worked neatly, and he treated the job as if he was working on his own home. From the start, punctual on the day of service, and professional throughout the entire process. I feel much more confident now knowing these exterior outlets are properly installed and protected from the elements thanks to Victor. Had a pretty straightforward job to have two outlets installed. Victor arrived on time and got right to work. He was thorough in completing the work and troubleshooted an issue that arose making sure it got resolved. He cleaned up the work area upon completion and worked diligently throughout the job. I sent out a request to have someone install a Nema 14–50R plug in my garage so that I could plug in my level two EV charger. Victor was the first person to reach out to me, and he remained responsive throughout the completion of the project. His flexibility, work ethic, professionalism, and timeliness also helped me feel confident in his work. Further, the cost for the project was reasonable and included a six month warranty on his work. I asked for a complicated landscape lighting electrical set up. VR Data/Electric calmly and professionally explained what needed to be done and was happy to do the work in stages. The work was top quality and communications were excellent. I added some electrical work and that was done professionally, too. Highly recommend!
