I can't give 3.5 stars so I'm rounding up. I hired Cha construction to add a second layer of drywall to my living room, with a layer of green glue in between that and the existing drywall, as well as to move the location of the ceiling fan. The good: they did competent work at a fair price and didn't take too long. The parts that weren't good: communication was difficult, resulting in their wanting additional money to do something (run an AV wire in the wall) that I thought we had discussed before finalizing, as well as their not fully understanding what to do with the green glue; they performed electrical work without a permit (partially my fault, as I didn't know anything about permitting at the time); they insisted on starting work asap even though not all materials had arrived, and took maybe 2-3 weeks (iirc) to come back and finish once the materials were on site. All things considered, I would recommend if you're careful not to rush into things without a fully mutual understanding of the project.

The best!! Mike and his team are amazing. Did excellent work around our house fixing all the bad trimming around our bay windows and side of our home he also used Quality products. He also fixed our basement window well and did great work and now we can see our drain!!! He is very professional and gives great prices!! I’m Telling you, you must give him call if you want amazing professional work done with great prices!!

Mike and his team were great! He was great on the phone and text, let us know before he was arriving, and did a great job on our project. When everything wasn’t exactly how I wanted, his team stuck around for an extra hour to make sure that everything was perfect and we were happy. I’d suggest Mike and his team and will definitely use him again for any projects I have. Attached are some before and after photos (the stairs are level, my grass needs work)

Mike did an absolutely fantastic job on putting tile in our foyer. A few weeks ago, we had to rip out the hardwood floors in this area due to water damage, and of the five flooring professionals we spoke with, Mike was the first to notice that the concrete in that area wasn’t level. Mike also replaced drywall, wood trim, re-hung doors and did touch-up painting in this area. His attention to detail is incredible, and it truly shows with the beautiful results. I highly recommend Cha Construction.
