GBS Remodeling did a great job repairing and painting the exterior of my home. They arrived exactly on time and we reviewed the work to be done. The estimate provided before hand did not include the materials, so after a quick trip out to purchase, they got to work immediately prepping the work area. They replaced several rotted wood areas in the bay window, painted it, two shutters at the top of the house, and the decorative board above the front entry way. They primed and painted 3 coats to ensure the exterior paint will last. They cleaned up after their work and took away the old wood pieces and.any trash. The bay window, shutters, and entryway look great and like new. It was a hot day and the worked steadily on a job that took over 8 hours! The price was reasonable and I plan to use them for future jobs!

GBS was prompt effective and efficient. He was accommodating as well. The only thing i would say is that we had a communication breakdown between us which I should have clarified early when I first met him to do the work. He quoted me a price to do the work, but then after it got started he kept adding on unclear expenses, even though the scope of the work had not changed. I should have had him quote the price and told him that I expected him to finish it for that price not add on additional amounts because he had not realized how much the materials would have cost. He seems like a good guy, but given the facts the project was almost double what he quoted me.
