Introduction

-Hourly Rate: $150/First Hour and $75 for each Hour after that. The larger first hour covers travel, prep work, and fees Thumbtack charges me directly for connecting us. I can also do flat rates for furniture assembly and other projects, to keep labor costs down for you. Thanks!- I've really enjoyed getting to know my loyal clients over the years. I recognize that welcoming a new service person into your home can be at times daunting. I always look to bring a level of trust and quality into my work, especially when working with new folks!

I was looking for a specific job to be completed, but when I read Honeybun Home Repairs’ qualifications, I added two more tasks. After I saw the quality of the work he was completing, I asked for two more additional tasks to be completed. He did not disappoint! I was completely happy with all five jobs he performed (resetting an outside door, caulking between the cement porch and brick house, caulking between the kitchen counter and backsplash, ensuring the storm door closed properly, and moving cabinet doors down so they did not scrape the ceiling). He was professional, cleaned the work spaces, and was enjoyable to talk with. I am writing a list of more tasks he can complete for me, and recommended him to a friend within minutes of his walking out of the door! I don’t believe there is a task he couldn’t complete.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I can work at an Hourly rate- $50/hr, 2 hr Minimum Charge. Or, we can do a project-based flat rate to fit your budget.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
For smaller jobs, I appreciated texts/photos ahead of time describing the work so that I can show and save us all time, and ultimately the client money, but jumping right into the work.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am the son of a professional handyman and began tiling and building decks about 30 years ago! I have accrued a vast knowledge regarding home maintenance and repair. But, also am happy to recommend going with a different professional if the job would be better suited.
