Melvin did a fantastic job repairing my patio door frame, installing new weather stripping and screen doors, and painting the exterior patio door, as well as an exterior window nearby. He was very responsive and gave me a good rate, came on time, communicated well, and completed the job exactly as I outlined. He was flexible when I added a window to the project as well. On top of that, he was very kind and pleasant to work with overall. I would definitely work with him again!

I had a difficult project, involving custom outdoor window boxes. These decorative boxes were very large, with multiple angles and hung from our second story windows. (Think, custom cabinets that hang 15 feet off the ground). The original home builder built them out of wood. They were rotting, and despite numerous repairs from other contractors, these boxes were starting to fall down. I could get no contractor or painting company to take on the effort of rebuilding them. That’s when I searched on Thumbtack and found Melvin at Lainez Contractors. He specializes in rebuilding outdoor Wood trim using PVC material. My job was more complicated than just recovering with PVC. Melvin had to re-frame and rebuild these large window boxes using all PVC. Very easy to communicate with. He explained to me his method, and incorporated my special requests regarding the rebuild. Always answered emails and phone calls. Scheduling was quick, showed up on time and finished the work on schedule. He and his team performed a thorough cleanup after work was completed.

Melvin did a fantastic job replacing the rotten wood trim around our house with PVC. His work quality was excellent and he was punctual and very responsible over Thumbtack and text. We will definitely hire Melvin again for future projects!

Melvin was a stud. He absolutely took the time and patience to ensure the work was done to the HIGHEST quality standard possible. He was professional, collaborative, and the work is impeccable. I am extremely happy with the work that Lainez Contractors LLC completed for me. Within one day of posting my request, he immediately reached out and set a time to come out and provide an estimate. Two days later, he showed up early and ready to work. He removed all rotted or damaged wood, replaced them, and painted all trimming including the window and garage doors frames.
