I contacted Kia to come and do a basic cleaning of my 1 bedroom bathroom apartment on Sunday 7/18. We discussed ad nauseam what I need her to do. I asked if she could fold and replace clothes in my closet if I washed them she said that'd be an extra charge so I decided to have her do the laundry as well since it'd still be an extra charge. She arrived at around 12:30 on the Sunday I was getting ready to leave so she'd have space to work. Before leaving I discussed further what I needed. I let her know that all the clothes needs to be washed, the kitchen needs to be cleaned bathroom towels washed and replaced. I came back at around 5pm after she called to let me know that she had to leave. Upon my arrival the place smelt clean but looked just as dirty as I had left it. Dishes were still in the sink, the counter still dirty, dirty pot on an equally dirty stove. The cushions in my couch weren't arranged and 1 chair still had clothes on it. A pile of clean clothes was on the edge of bed not folded, the towels in the bathroom wasn't arranged, needless to say I was thoroughly disappointed. I had been feeling very low and slightly depressed and needed the house cleaned to help me come out of it but instead coming to find the place in just about the same state I had left it made me feel almost worse. I started to express my disappointment to Kia and instead of apologizing for the poor job she proceeded to say she did what I told her to do. To which I told her all the things that you didn't do I actually did tell her to do, and even if I didn't being a cleaning service certain things should go without saying; like if you're cleaning a kitchen, THE KITCHEN SHOULD BE CLEAN. If I'm paying EXTRA for launder services I expect for the clothes to be laundered and folded neatly even if you don't put them in the closet. She kept going back and forth with me with no shred of remorse or apology and even had the audacity to say "Closed mouths don't get fed" when I told her that certain things don't need to be communicated when it comes to providing a cleaning service. I wasn't going to write this review but had I thought she was even in the least remorseful or felt bad about her conduct I wouldn't have. She hasn't even called me to try and repair or fix the issue or offer her services to complete the job to my satisfaction. She just gladly took the rest of my money and smugly went on her way. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS WOMAN AT ALL. Her prices are lower than other services because she does a piss poor job. I have attached pictures of how I saw my place as well as dust and dirt in areas that she supposedly vacuumed.

Ok so let’s get something straight once again if u would have communicated that u wanted dishes washed & etc... u should have said that specifically then it would have got done I have before & after pictures of your home cleaned for sure what was most unprofessional on your part was u had the audacity to not tell me that u have a pet which I could’ve charged a fee for & when I arrived to your place u specifically said u wanted the bedroom & bathroom done including unloading the dish washer & doing laundry all of that was completed next time on your behalf speak up & say something because in actual reality if u don’t say nothing it won’t get gone why ? Because your not communicating effectively about what u want done & if u have been feeling so depressed that’s something personal that you have to deal with don’t use depression as an excuse to downplay a black woman any time I get a bad review it’s always from black people on that note god bless !!

She came to my house and only folded my laundry and made the beds. I still had dog hair all over my house and the floors weren't mops or vacuumed. I wouldn't recommend AT ALL!!

Ok let’s get this straight before u try to make it seem like no work wasn’t done at all when I first got to your house u told me directly I want 3 bedrooms 3 bathrooms clean & laundry folded I said ok that’s no problem so the first room with all the laundry I folded everything & vacuumed after that I went to your bedroom & made the bed up & vacuumed after that I proceeded to clean all your bathrooms from the top level to the bottom level bathroom then after that was done I cleaned the kitchen including the stove refrigerator as well I swept the hardwood cookies & mop the floors as well & also the pet stains u mentioned I cleaned that as well .... so lets not mention what was unprofessional on your behalf which is by telling me the last minute that u had pets while i contacted you to let u know That I was arriving to you so instead of you telling me that the last minute u could have said that when we were having conversation through thumbtack usually I charge fees for pets in home but I did not even took it upon myself to charge you for that because of the fact that I was being nice & understanding so anytime I do business with other clients I never had this type of problem why because my clients communicate effectively instead of saying something the last minute I have proof of pictures & videos that your house was cleaned for sure god bless !!!
