STOP and do not continue looking for a makeup artist and hair stylist if you’re reading this review. Ana and her team are the ones for you! They exceeded my expectations! I was a bridesmaid and a wedding coordinator for a wedding I was attending...and let me tell you, I got ready at 8:30 am and my hair and makeup stayed in tact a whole 12 hours later. Ana, thank you so much for everything that you did for me! You are forever going to be my go to person for Makeup and Hair in the DMV area and I am so happy to say that my search for a MUAH artist has come to an end! Xoxo

When researching places and people to do the hair and make up for myself and 6-7 other girls for my wedding, Ana was the only person I contacted who responded and answered all my questions. Most other places sent automated messages that just gave me information. Ana and all the girls who work with her are all very professional, fun and personable. They truly care and want to do their best to make everyone feel beautiful. And make your special day perfect. Ana takes the time to get to know her brides. She was not able to personally do my hair and make up but she still met with me during my first trial to get to know me and when I did not like my initial make up she immediately set up for a free second trial with a different make up artist who she felt would be a better match for me. All of the ladies who work with Ana Merces are very talented make up and hair artists. I highly recommend Ana and her team! They are awesome!

Ana did just a great job taking care of my bridesmaids and I for our hair and makeup! She was very punctual, responsive, very easy to work with, understanding, fun , honest, flexible and very professional! I would highly recommend and would work with again for myself! She also took in consideration of covid and wore masks and cleaned brushes every time. I did not have to worry one bit, I felt very comfortable working with her and would not hesitate on booking again! I am so in love with Ana and her team's work! Ana was extremely easy to work with. Everyone commented on how perfect my hair was, and I love it! What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I attended Von Lee Aesthetics School for Make-up Artistry. I also have been trained my MAC Cosmetics for different levels of certification. Additionally, I took Advance Makeup Courses with Brazilian Makeup Artists to perfect my skill.
I have taken a Bridal Hair Course and a Stylist Course for to perfect Hair Skills.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
Runs in the family! My mom is a Hairstylist/Makeup Artist. I grew up watching her :)
