I’m a divorced dad who moved into my own apartment for the first time in 2022. The first four years I tried everything I could think of to keep clutter at a minimum, but I failed so badly. Until I met Carina from Simply Organized and she literally changed my entire home experience from one of feeling overwhelmed by the mess, to one where I now have a place where everything belongs and a spreadsheet that she built to remind me where it is supposed to be if I forget. The work was seamless and fun. Her attitude is perpetually upbeat. When I would feel like it was hopeless she would show me a small breakthrough in storage, or a new way of thinking about a drawer. Simple things that have held up and kept me organized for over a year now. I think the part I appreciate the most is that she didn’t just tush me to shove all my things into plastic bins and store them away. She worked with the natural cabinets, bureaus and drawers that I already had. We had to buy a few cheap containers and so she took me shopping at the local dollar store and we came back with ideas that look good, have held up and didn’t break the bank. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Currently my pricing is by 3 hour chunks. It typically takes me 3 hours to complete a small project and can take me up to 12 hours or more to complete bigger projects. It really depends on the size of the project and how involved the client wants to be.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My typical process is to a FREE 15-30 minute consultation to determine the client needs. I ask questions to get to know you and you get to ask me questions too!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I do not have formal education or training on professional organization. It is a skill I've always had and have used in all jobs I've had in the past.
