Working with Larissa was such an enjoyable experience. Talk about taking the stress out of a big project. She designed and built and architectural drawing for me to build a master bedroom with bathroom and walk in closet over our garage. She found unique solutions to some of my intricate problems. Larissa was great to work with! I shared with her a couple of photos of the paint update I was looking to make to the living room and she provided quick feedback with specific color suggestions. Her extensive knowledge of materials and how they would hold up with lifestyle (specifically multiple kids and a dog) followed up with specific recommendations was helpful in considering replacing the area rug. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Every project begins with a 90-minute in-home Design Discovery for $325, with additional spaces at $50 each. You can extend the visit to four hours total for an additional $250 or add Focused Sourcing at $100/hour (two-hour minimum). DIY Design starts at $2,000, with additional spaces priced according to scope. Full-Service Furnishings & Finishes starts at $4,000, and Full-Service Renovation starts at $6,000. Your Design Discovery and qualifying Extended Session fees can be applied in full toward the design fee for a larger project when you sign the applicable agreement within 60 days. Focused Sourcing fees are separate and are not credited.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I start by learning about your home, your priorities, how you live, and what isn't working in your space. Every project begins with a paid Design Discovery, where we explore possibilities and develop a Design Edit with recommendations, a 3D floor plan, and actionable next steps. Optional extended time and focused sourcing are available based on your needs. From there, I can recommend whether DIY Design or Full-Service makes sense for your project.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My interior design training includes coursework through the New York Institute of Art and Design (NYIAD), alongside practical experience developing design concepts, floor plans, elevations, 3D renderings, material palettes, and project presentations.
