Infinite Solutions is a small business of one. However I have been working with computers since 1988. I am employed fulltime as an IT Specialist / Systems Engineer. However I provide service for my customers evenings and weekends which is when they need it most. I have also worked in the electrical fields and telephone. Which gives me other experience that compliments my computer consulting, adding experience with wiring, electrical code and cabling.
I am a good honest contractor, with budget pricing and good work ethics. I stand behind all my work and my references can share their experiences.

As with any purchase you always seem to navigate to the lowest price first but sometimes that can hurt you in the long run. James definitely proved this theory wrong. He provided quality outstanding service for half the price others were charging. James assisted me with configuring and resolving my Windows Server, website and database issues. He remoted in to my server and explained and walked me through every troubleshooting step along the way. James quoted me he could have the issue resolved in about an hour. Once we were done, we looked at the clock and it was exactly an hour. I was so pleased with his service that I paid him for an additional hour! I have locked his number in my phone for any future computer or server needs. I highly recommend him...you will not be disappointed!

I highly recommend Infinite Solutions. They came to my home and fixed my WiFi that we had been struggling with for months in a couple of hours. They were able to set up a secure router and even add a guest network. An amazing amount of work was accomplished in a very short period of time. I will be calling again for other networking needs.

I could not access my primary 2TB HDD that contained a lot of important data and digital images. The drive worked fine the night before but when I booted up my computer the following morning, there was no trace of it on the computer. After a couple of hours of posting questions in various forums and not making any headway, I realized I needed to bring in the big guns--meaning someone who knew their way around a dead hard drive.
I wasn't sure how to find the best person or company to help me with my problem. I stumbled upon Thumbtack and learned that it could provide a list of local companies/people to help me with my issue. I had to describe my problem and in less than hour I had three people/companies presenting an amount they would charge me to fix my drive.
I called all three companies and I knew I wanted to go with Infinite Solutions to fix my drive without question. The gentleman I spoke with--I'm blanking on his name right now--was the person who worked on repairing my drive. He was knowledgeable; he listened patiently and didn't rush me as I peppered him with questions about the drive. He answered all my questions in a clear, easy-to-understand voice that was without a heavy accent which I find nice in these days with everything outsourced. With the technician explaining the process of data retrieval in a general way, I felt so much better because I knew my situation was not so dire as I had feared.
I shipped my drive to Infinite Solutions and by the next day the tech had received the drive and was already contacting me with an update which was good news! After examining the drive, he had determined that all of my data could be restored. Within less than one week I had my data recovered--the drive was a loss.
I highly recommend Infinite Solitions to anyone dealing with a problematic hard drive that holds your important data--your life on it--that u need retrieved in a timely and secure manner. The price paid for the drive was very competitive and well worth the money.

My experiences with working with James were exceedingly positive , in all aspects. I was replacing an older desktop with an inexpensive refurbished unit. James helped me , via email , through all phases of choosing and installing the Dell . He guided me through picking a computer, and printer, with patience. I felt very comfortable with James in my home, I enjoyed conversing with him . I was especially impressed with his calm demeanor, and patience. I`m 61, have poor grasp of technology, I learned quite a bit through him . His rates are more than reasonable. I would recommend Infinite Solutions for anyone seeking IT help .

James was great, I wish I could hire him for my own company but we was performing a home network installation job for me remotely. As such, communication and trust is very important and James did that really well. He went above and beyond the call of duty when the ISP was having issues, and he communicated with me over Skype to ensure some things were done to my satisfaction. Within a few hours he had installed new cable service, connected cable to my TV (along with singer net) configured my home WiFi to communicate with my Nest thermostats, and even connects and tested my printer. My pricing is very low. I try to offer great service at a reasonable price.

I like to introduce myself. Discuss the problem or task they have and then offer a solution along with my rate and estimates.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I studied computers in school. I had on the job training will working for a computer repair company as a bench tech for three years. I was a bench tech for CompUSA. I have been to many Microsoft classes, including Windows Server, Active Directory, Powershell, Hyper-V, etc. I am also trained in vmWare.
