FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge very reasonable rates. There are a few features of my work that require separate fees (website hosting, for example), that I will likely include in the quote estimate.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to start by meeting in person or by scheduling a phone call to talk through the client's goals. Email is my primary way of communicating but I am also open to scheduling additional phone calls or additional meetings, as necessary. Once the client and I have set up a list of tasks and a timeline, I like to work through the tasks and show drafts to the client for approval. Any web content or publishable items would be shown to the client before going live, to make sure that s/he agrees with the messaging. I am flexible when it comes to the client's reporting needs and I'm willing to set up a system that makes the client feel confident that tasks are completed well and on-time.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
B.A. in English. I have been developing and updating websites for 7 years. I have been designing for my full-time job for the last 3 years. I have attended several courses on HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Google Adwords and Google Analytics. I have extensive email marketing experience with Constant Contact, I manage social media and I have experience with paid Facebook advertisements.
