Maria is a great personable teacher. Her open approach to teaching and ability to adapt in real time to the learning styles and needs of her students makes learning a pleasure. She is able to apply real world situations and realities to class to set the expectations of students preparing to apply their new Spanish language skills in real environments. Maria also takes her personal time outside of class to send students articles and videos to help bolster lessons and difficult areas within the Spanish language. She provides real-time explanations for language mechanics that aren’t clear in text books to help students absorb how native speakers use words and the differences between Spanish in different Spanish speaking countries. My time with Maria has been pleasurable and my ability to listen, speak and read has grown tremendously.

Mariadelina was a superb Spanish professor. She exercised patience when teaching me. She also made herself available no matter the time or circumstance to help me achieve my learning goals. Working with her helped me attain high marks on Spanish exams for the Army. Mariadelina is a very respectful and fun teacher. She is able to teach in an easily digestible way and she makes sure I fully understand the lesson before moving on. She is also very flexible, understanding, and a great communicator when any emergencies pop up.
