Introduction: I have an individual method of teaching and helping each student to achieve personal goals. Our classes are a lot of fun, but at the same time extremely productive. I work with adults, kids, wedding couples, amateurs and with those who dance professionally. I also work with the Ballroom Team of George Washington University. Our dance studio is well known in D.C. area. We regularly take part in different showcases, performances and competitions. I teach social dances (salsa, bachata), International style (10 dance program) as well as American. My passion is to create new wonderful choreography for each student. Strong school, great attitude, affordable prices and flexible schedule. MyDance is not just a dance studio, we are a DANCE FAMILY! Success of my students is my success. It makes me feel happy when I see a great result of our work.

Alina was wonderful to work with and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for wedding dance instruction. Not only did she tailor the private lessons perfectly for me and my fiance's needs, but she also kindly worked around our busy schedules. The lessons were low pressure and suited to our complete lack of dance experience-- Alina helped us feel confident for our first dance in front of our family and friends. It was a really fun experience that my fiance and I will look back on fondly-- thank you, Alina!

Alina is a fantastic instructor and an all-around awesome human being. Around six weeks before our wedding, my husband and I decided that just swaying back and forth was probably not going to cut it for our first dance. Fortunately, we found Alina, who not only made us feel more comfortable being front-and-center on the dance floor—but made us fall in love with dancing in general! We were open to doing something different for our medium-paced song, and Alina went for it; designing dynamic choreography on the fly with multiple styles mixed in. Throughout our sessions, she was patient, fun, and flexible, quickly changing steps that tripped us up or added any unnecessary stress. By the sixth and final lesson, we had the full dance down and were excited to show off at the wedding! Needless to say, our guests loved it. Looking back on it, the best part of our dance was that perfectly captured our personality as a couple. Alina picked up on our energy and designed a beautiful dance to complement it. We enjoyed the experience so much, that we're continuing to take lessons! If you're looking for a fantastic instructor who's completely committed to her students, Alina is your girl.

Alina has been doing an awesome job working with my fiance and I to choreograph our first dance. We're 2 lessons in and are almost done learning all the moves! She's super accommodating with our schedules, and really patient with us as we mess up the steps. We highly recommend her!

Alina is wonderful! She helped us develop the first dance for our wedding and without knowing the song put together something for us that really worked! She helped us really master the dance in small parts so that we would be comfortable and learn it. She was also very patient. We would easily work with her again! I would recommend

My prices are affordable.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The initial process depends on each individual, his or her experience (if any) and what student would like to accomplish. On the experience, please no worries, I have students who compete at various local, state and nationwide dance competitions, but I also have students who are very beginners.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have extensive experience working with renowned dancers not only in America but also in Europe.
