I am Addy, the founder, and lead planner of Adelines Events. I always had a deep passion for events planning and coordination, especially weddings, and when it comes to events, it’s vital to create meaningful, memorable experiences for my clients. Why? Because event planning is important and crucial to ensure the success of the event. I want my clients’ events to run smoothly, so I am here to help reduce stress and enable my clients to enjoy their day/night. Adelines Events is a full wedding and event planning award winning company based in the Washington DC Metro Area. At Adelines Events, we genuinely have passion about organization, and because we connect with couples during the most exciting time of their lives, our goal is to relieve them from the stress involved in planning their wedding by themselves. Our responsibilities include establishing a planning timeline and working with the couple to choose everything from attire, to ceremony and reception venues, music, food, and much more. We assist them execute their dream weddings, making sure that everything runs smoothly.

Hiring Addy was the best choice we made throughout the wedding planning process. Our wedding was intercultural, multinational, and multilingual and she didn’t hesitate to jump in and make everything elegant and fun for everyone. She helped plan and execute our wedding through date changes, pandemic regulations, restrictions, I mean, you name it we came up against it and Addy helped us manage it without stress. I never thought I’d enjoy planning a wedding but Addy made it all so easy and fun. We had many incredible vendors but Addy was in a league of her own. We wish we could do it all again! Thank you Addy!

Words cannot possibly match the level of support and advice I’ve received from Addy. Anxieties diminished when I realized Addy heard and understood the vision I had for my wedding. Her work to bring ALL vendors together and relieve the bride and groom of the stress of dealing with the business details. AMAZING!!!

Addy is first and foremost a wonderful person. My daughter who lives in Virginia needed help because I live in CT and boy did we luck out. Addy kept Casey calm, gave her lists, and kept her organized leading up to her wedding.day. We could not have asked for a better person to have our backs. Small issues with the venue as we were getting ready and she took care of it all. Comforted me when I cried, helped with a dress malfunction and was willing to do whatever she needed to make sure my daughters day was perfect. We didn’t even have to ask. She’s a pro and knew what to do. We feel blessed to have found her and thankful for our new friendship.

Divaaddysevents is amazing, "if you are stressed" out about anything, just call her right away and she will take care of it. Anything I saw on pinterest and really wanted, she searched for it and found the best options!!! She is very organized and punctual !! . I came to Divaaaddy with a simple idea and she worked her magic and brought it to life. If you think you don't need a wedding planner, think again and if you think you can just go with any one hhhmm think again. She was fabulous, experienced and very affordable.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Every event is different, and every proposal is tailored to that event and the pricing is based on a multitude of factors such as date, hours, location, number of guests. Our day of coordination package starts from $500.00
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We begin servicing our clients immediately, as soon as we make contact with them. Consultation is unlimited and free by phone or any video, during which we answer all questions and share any concerns that they may have. We are all ears! It is a customer free friendly service!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
With approximately 15 years of volunteering as an event planner and a wedding coordinator. We are also proud to be honored as one of the top wedding businesses in Silver Spring on WeddingWire.com.
