Introduction: We are a local flooring/carpet shop at home company that buys direct from the manufacturers and local distributors. We keep our overhead down allowing us to price our selves lower than any of the big box competitors, we also offer 6, 12 and up to 24 months interest free financing.

Chris and his team did an amazing job on removing my carpet and replacing it with hardwood. The floor looks amazing and they worked very quickly. I would definitely use them again.

Hardwood Floor Refinishing
I struggled deciding between 3 and 4 stars, but ultimately differed to 4. That being said, I’ve never given out less than 5 stars.
The good:
the floors came out really nice
The not so good:
a few things. First, don’t go with a quarter round if you have any kind of non basic trim. We did, and it didn’t come out great. The guys came back to fix the major issues I had, but it still doesn’t look great. I’d personally recommend that you don’t go with the quarter round (look at the joint in the first picture). Next, communication is not the best. Chris tends to respond once every few days and usually late at night. They also really are not flexible with scheduling, it always felt like I was making things work for them rather then them making things work for the customer. I was also slightly annoyed that they’d charge an extra $250 to come out to test a few stain colors although it was advertised by the sales guy. I had to buy my own stains and figure out what looks best.
All in all, they did do a great job with the floors, but I’m not sure I’d recommend them. They didn’t really make me feel like a customer and more that I was just a pain in their butt.

Thank you for your feedback, we are always looking to improve our service. With that being said I do feel as though there are some misleading comments such as the only responding every few days which is simply not true, Yes I did respond late in the evening but that is usually because you sent messages later in the day after 5 pm and us not being flexible also not true- sanding and refinishing is a few day project as you saw and we tried our best to accommodate your personal inflexible work schedule. The only reason we asked for the additional cost was due to you not being able to be there in the morning during the initial process where we would have sanded down an area and sampled the colors for you to see. You asked us for an additional day to come out sand down a spot and leave it for you over night so you could see it when you were off work. This is not something we typically do let alone for free. The quarter round was definitely a challenge with the strange molding you had and I do apologize for having to come out and redo it I would agree with this type of molding we should have maybe gone a different route. As a newer company we have certainly learned from this and I firmly believe if you decided to give us another project it would run much more smoothly than this one. Again thank you for your feedback and your business we will do our best eliminate these problems in the future.
