FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is straightforward, competitive, and based on the type of equipment and repair needed. I provide honest assessments and discuss repair costs before major work is performed. Diagnostic and service call fees may apply depending on the job location and equipment type. I strive to keep repairs affordable while maintaining high-quality workmanship and reliable service. If additional parts are needed, I’ll communicate those costs upfront so there are no surprises. Repeat customers and customers with multiple pieces of equipment may qualify for discounted pricing.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
1. Contact me with information about your equipment and the issue you’re experiencing. 2. I’ll ask a few questions and schedule a convenient service time. 3. I’ll diagnose the problem and provide an honest repair recommendation. 4. Once approved, I’ll complete the repair and thoroughly test the equipment. 5. I’ll review everything with you before the job is finished to ensure you’re satisfied. My goal is to provide reliable service, clear communication, and competitive pricing from start to finish.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have over 9 years of hands-on experience working on small engines and outdoor power equipment. Throughout my career, I’ve diagnosed, repaired, and maintained a wide variety of equipment, including lawn mowers, riding mowers, generators, snow blowers, chainsaws, trimmers, and other small-engine equipment. In addition to my small engine experience, I have a strong mechanical and electrical background, which helps me accurately troubleshoot complex issues and provide reliable repairs. I stay current with industry practices and continue learning through real-world experience and ongoing work in the field.
