Kevin Manuel is a professional photographer and documentary storyteller who tells stories through media.
Kevin Manuel’s college educational journey began in Takoma Park, Maryland where he earned a Public Communications (Intercultural Communication) degree from Washington Adventist University. He developed a keen appreciation for journalism there and through the advice of his mentor, attended Ohio University’s Visual Communications program.
The combination of his love for the form and his formal education has made multimedia, journalism, and current events, the forefront of his career path.
He then completed a multimedia internship with MLive Muskegon Chronicle in Michigan, producing multimedia pieces for their online site as well as written work chronicling the lives of a unique community. Kevin has a strong background in writing and has been involved with multimedia for the past several years.
This has allowed him to hone his skills in multimedia narration which has directed his writing, photography, journalism.

The photos came out nice, and the turnaround was very fast. We took the pictures on Saturday and received them on Monday. We appreciate Kevin accommodating us on short notice for our family photos.

Kevin was great to work with! We had to reschedule for our photoshoot and he was more than open and flexible about it. Plus he was very responsive to all of my questions and concerns. We enjoyed our photoshoot and Kevin was willing to start earlier and finish later too. It was a great experience for a family photoshoot with my dogs.

Phenomenal photo at a great price point.
Overall very easy to work with and was very accommodating meeting very quickly.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is flexible and reflects the amount of time I use for the initial meet up, photo shoot time, toning and editing of the album, and any final changes required by the client.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I schedule a call to discuss style and location and clarify what their specific needs are for the photo shoot. Then its on to planning the day and making sure all the necessary goals are reached for the shoot.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I attended graduate school for photography and I also have worked professionally as a photojournalist. My work has been published by the Associated Press and the Washington Times.
