FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First, there will be a consultation call for us to get to know one another better and for you to express what you are looking to achieve from your lessons. During this call, I will give an overview of my teaching philosophy, go over studio policies and provide space for any and all questions to be asked. If the client would like to move forward and schedule a lesson time, they will be sent a questionnaire to fill out before the first lesson. This questionnaire will be used to prepare for the first lesson and lay the foundation of the students lesson plan which will be expanded upon further after the first meeting.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have studied privately for 14 years as well as attended vocal training and pedagogy conferences. I am also an active performing vocalist and researcher of vocal techniques.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
As someone who has been singing for the majority of my life, I have always been drawn to the mechanics, ways to build a vocal vocabulary, and discover different ways to utilize the capabilities of one’s voice.
