About
I am a freelance artist, expert in all manners of art and design, but I have the most fun drawing cartoons, especially in their application to large window paintings (also called window splash).
I run a full-service screen printing shop and do a lot of contract printing for businesses, schools, and organizations, printing from art I create for you, or your existing logo/design.
I print from 1 to 6 colors or full color direct printing on all manner of garments --
I travel for the window splash and do everything else here in my studio, then email or ship it through UPS.

We are The River School! I sent John a photo of our school window and said Circus theme, the name of the Auction and date. He came up with this wonderful kid and adult-friendly design in what seemed like an hour. It was just what we wanted, and we didn't change a thing! What he emailed me was exactly what is on our window. And he did it freehand with just the small drawing taped up! John is easy to get it touch with, answered all of my questions, is professional, and talented. We are delighted with the result, and will be very sad when he takes it down after the Auction. Highly recommend!

I have used Gnarly Artly the last five years for projects including silk screened t-shirts, shorts runs of bumper stickers, large signage, window painting including text and graphics, high resolution image printing, the design and fabrication of three dimensional artwork and graphic design. With each project Gnarly has demonstrated a broad knowledge of materials, graphics arts and design. His work has always been first class, on time, reasonably priced and regularly exceeds my expectations. I would not hesitate to recommend Gnarly Artly to anyone looking for a source for their graphics needs.

Gnarly Artly has been painting the windows of our stores for a couple years now. The designs are eye catching, colorful and exactly what we need to brighten up our storefronts. The customers love the designs and eager to see what's coming next.
