FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I have both hourly rates and flat fees, depending upon the type of case and the complexity of the case. I seek to ensure that my clients can resolve their case in an economical fashion, and strive to ensure that every dollar is dedicated to solving the client's problem rather than wasting money filing unnecessary court papers.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I have the client fill out information about themselves, which I review in advance, so that our first meeting can be productive and economical for the client. I work with my client to define the dream, after the family crisis is over, then help the client map out a plan to reach that goal.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I attended law school at William and Mary after working for the Secret Service. I have been admitted to the highest courts in Maryland and the District of Columbia as well as to the United States Supreme Court. I have had extensive training in mediation and collaborative law.
