Let me start off by saying that music is my LIFE! Aside from having over a decade of professional DJing experience, I'm also a musician and music producer. I've DJ'd hundreds of events and I know that I can deliver exactly what your next party needs. When you hire me, you won't have to worry whether or not your party will be a good time. I have high quality sound and lighting gear, and I always bring backup equipment so I'm prepared for any situation. And with the power of the internet, I have an endless library of music. I can play literally anything that you and your guests want to hear. I can take requests, play your personal playlist, or hand select the music, it's entirely up to you! Need an MC? No problem. Simply stated we were blown away at what Chris did at our wedding. Tim knew all the music we wanted played and kept the party going with his own choices that fit right in with our party. The most important thing Chris did was basically run the show. I did not realize how vital a DJ is to the overall success of a wedding and Kate and I feel so lucky we found Chris. He kept us on our overall time frame and basically orchestrated everything so perfect. I am still in amazement over how well it went and one of the biggest parts besides Kate saying yes is prototype productions and Chris. Thanks again

Chris, of Prototype Productions, is an excellent and professional individual who did such an outstanding job at a recent wedding at our Club. At this particular wedding, only a third of the bride and groom’s guests attended their reception and the bride and groom were deeply upset by this. Enter Chris who will treat a room with his warm, fun, and inviting DJ style no matter if there are 1,000 in attendance or one. Nothing felt forced and he was able to make everyone feel relaxed and in capable hands. He guided the bride and groom through the night and at the end of the day they, and all their guests, went home happy (after lots of laughing and dancing!) It is this kind of professionalism and care that we value here at our Club, and want every single one of our clients to experience. We can't wait to see him again!

Prototype productions nailed it! We were so happy with our DJ for our wedding last month. He was super nice and did everything we asked of him. His music selections were spot on, and he incorporated all of our music requests which was very important for my husband. He knew how to read a room and play the right music to get people up and moving. All were spectacular. Overall, our event turned out better than we could have hoped, and California DJ's really helped set the tone for the night. Thank you!!

I called Tim about 5 days before our holiday party looking for a DJ since another company didn't follow through with us. Tim was great he worked with us on every aspect and got me a DJ booked and confirmed the same day! Tim saved the day for me so I didn't have to tell my staff we couldn't get a DJ for our end of the year party. The day of the event Danny showed up on time and set up and got going, he was super nice and fun and the staff said all great things about him! we plan on keeping Tim's number for future events!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I'm currently running a discount price of only $90 per hour! Also prices are negotiable. Lighting packages and additional sound equipment are also available. Visit my website for more details.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We'll basically just exchange a few emails, all I need from you is the location of the event, what type of music you want me to play, and which lighting package you want (if any). I will show up early to set up and I'll stay until you need me to.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a bachelors degree from The University of Baltimore Maryland where I studied art and music. I've taken many courses on DJing, music production, sound design, music theory, and more.
