Darlene was fantastic! Wonderful work and great pricing. She cleaned up and cleared out my overgrown garden and removed some shrubs to have a clean slate for planting. She helped me come up with a plan for buying some plants, and planted them for me. You can really tell that she enjoys what she does! Thank you, Darlene! I can't wait to watch my garden grow!

My dying dogwood tree needed to be removed. since I like the the tree I wanted a replacement. Gardenscaping in Baltimore contacted me, came to my home to see if the tree could be saved. Since it could not be saved, we talked about the options for a replacement. They arrived on the designated time, removed the old tree, planted the new tree and made sure that the area was left in great condition. Very pleased.

Darlene was sent to us as an angel out of heaven. We needed to water our garden for the next several weeks until our irrigation system is installed. None of the Max-sellers or Poorly-staffed-boys in the neighborhood came through for us. We were tearing our hair out! Not only does she water but she has a green thumb and is bringing vim, vigor and vitality...not to mention color....to our garden! Like a leprechaun she brings magic with her handy hose and trowel. Weeds and evil not so dandy lions: you’re on notice! Go, indeed, Darlene Waters!!!!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I do not charge for the first visit of consultation. I charge $25 an hour for 1 person and $45 per hour for 2 persons. I purchase mulch by the yard, plants, shrubs,small trees, perennials and annuals.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When meeting the customer for the first time I like to discuss what their thoughts are about their project. I like to know their colors, what flowers mean to them (cut flowers, attracting butterflies and bees, etc), if they like to work in their garden (watering, weeding) or just enjoy looking at it. Listen to their plans and work with them.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a Master Gardener. I read about gardens and the problems that can arise so I can take care of it. I enjoy looking at garden designs so I can advise my clients.
