Let me start by saying that I am thrilled for the opportunity to share my experience with Everest Repairs and specifically Owner Karl Gutowski. In a few words, it was overwhelmingly positive and a complete and total success! To begin, he arrived on time and further provided a text message that he was in-route. In preparation for Karl, I had pulled my mower from the garage (earlier) and left it out in my driveway. Upon his arrival, Karl texted me to alert me that he had arrived. Immediately, I headed out to my driveway to greet him. By the time I reached the driveway, Karl (in that brief time) had already grabbed his tool bag from the truck and had partially disassembled my sick lawnmower and was hard at work! Right off the bat, I was totally impressed. I own a 24 year old self-propelled Honda lawnmower that had recently began to show its age. Only one of two speeds worked, the transmission had begun to slip badly and the drive mechanism would no longer climb a slight incline and barely moved on level ground. In my mind, everything pointed to a worn 24 year old transmission and regrettably, it was time for a new replacement lawnmower. Strategically and surgically, Karl stealthily went about his business of investigation and analysis. He was at it for better than two hours as he relentless chased down the cause and solutions while dripping in perspiration. It was amazing, for me, to watch his dogged pursuit, as he absolutely refused to give up or toss in the towel (as I was prepared to do, at this point) Ultimately, Karl was able to identify the problems and completely repaired my 24 year old mower that is now operating like a new machine! I was stunned, amazed and so excited; to say the least. When it comes to small engine and equipment repair, this remarkably young man is extremely gifted. And catch this; he is direct 4th generation (family) equipment repair – unbelievable. I urge anyone in need of small engine and equipment repair to contact Karl and his company Everest Repairs. Besides being extremely competent, skilled and professional, this young man is most respectful, very likeable, cordial, fair, and honest and truly gets it when it comes to delivering above and beyond quality Customer Service at a modest charge.
