Where do I begin! Kelsey's portfolio and reviews on Thumbtack was what drew me to Kelsey and her business J. Jamal Beauty originally. After some searching I found Kelsey's website and her portfolio there amazed me too! Kelsey was responsive immediately after reaching out to her and she has been in contact with me up until my wedding day. Kelsey travels to you and also has a network of glam artists she works with. Our trial run was really good. It was nice being able to talk to another woman and being able to hit it off so quickly! We had much in common and I appreciate Kelsey for opening up to me and for allowing me to do the same. Kelsey was just overall fun to talk to and so welcoming. Kelsey had a hair stylist name Makayla that laid my hair so well for my wedding, my goodness! When Kelsey and Kay finished my makeup and hair- I felt so beautiful. My, mother and bridesmaids faces looked like angels. Kelsey showed up at 6am and stayed to help us all day like almost 12 hours! She helped any way she could to make this day special and to make sure I looked my best at all times. She was sewing buttons on flower girls dresses, helping us all get dressed, fanning me off lol, touching up my face VERY OFTEN for photos, and running around like she was a bridesmaid, lol!!! I wish she was... Thank you Kelsey!!! Hats off to you!!! I will see you soon...

For bridal clients, I request a consultation at my studio location at least two weeks prior to the wedding date.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I’ve worked under a few celebrity makeup artists, but mostly self taught.
