Siobhan Beckett Makeup FX

Introduction: Siobhan Beckett is a trained actress, singer, makeup artist and professional zombie. Siobhan was born and raised just outside of Baltimore in Towson, Maryland. Growing up in the land of pleasant living, Siobhan was exposed to the creative weirdness of Baltimore legends, such as Edgar Allen Poe, John Waters and Divine at a dangerously early age. Siobhan is unfortunately unable to confirm any familial relation to the late, great absurdist playwright, Samuel Beckett at this time. However, she is still diligently researching the possibility. Siobhan attended Towson University for her Bachelor's degree in Acting. While at Towson, Siobhan discovered her love for haunted houses, and she started honing her craft for makeup artistry. With a passion for horror and macabre, she became particularly interested in gore and special effects work. She also became very interested in the art of teaching, and she acted as a teacher's aid for several makeup and performance classes. Siobhan has been spotted performing in shows at Artscape, Baltimore Theater Project, Load of Fun Theatre and Spotlighters Theatre. She has been found singing at the Ottobar, Cyclops Art Gallery, the LoFT, Liam Flynn's Ale House, Swallow at the Hollow, on the Ocean City Boardwalk and occasionally dressed as a Zombie Janis Joplin. Siobhan is a trained scare actress and professional hauntertainer. She has been known to haunt Field of Screams Maryland, the Timonium SCAREgrounds and currently can be found scaring at Bennett's Curse Haunted Attractions. Siobhan works as a standardized patient and moulage effects artist for shock trauma medical training with the University of Maryland Medical Center. She has previously worked with Baltimore Annex Theatre, Factory Edge Theatre Works, Glass Mind Theatre company, Iron Crow Theatre company and the Baltimore Playwrights Festival as both a performer and makeup artist. Siobhan is available for theatrical productions, films, parties, beauty makeup, personal consultations, special events, musical performances, photo shoots, head shots, face painting, body painting, demonstrations, and more! Siobhan specializes in theatrical horror, gore effects, blood and fantasy work.
