With a Twist Mixologists is the one of best event management companies I have worked with. (I am an event management consultant myself). First let me say that Tiaisha was my Event Consultant. I liked her from the start AND she was awesome. I was celebrating my birthday and a new job. Tiaisha worked me with to create my vision, even making recommendations for aspects of the event that I had not considered, even THE BAR. I initially had not considered getting a bar. However, after speaking with Tiaisha and seeing pictures of it, it was a MUST HAVE!! The owner, Ayanna contacted me immediately to continue to create my vision if Tiaisha was working another event or was unavailable. Mixologists with a Twist brought my vision to fruition and created a very classy and upscale environment that all of my guests enjoyed. The bartenders and wait staff were AWESOME!! They were outgoing, friendly, and engaging. They catered to each and every guest as if they were the only one. The cocktails were wonderful and so was the service. They made sure that my guests were happy, and that I was happy. With a Twist Mixologists DID NOT DISAPPOINT!!!

Taisha was a pleasure to work with in preparing for and designing my company's Grand Opening Celebration. She handled the requested and the changes with ease! She assigned Candice to our event and Candice was one of the hits of the party. She arrived long before the agreed upon start time just to be sure she could be on-time. She was pleasant and personable and ensured all my guests had exactly what they needed. I couldn't have asked for a better bartending experience. Absolutely loved having them bartend my event! Punctual, professional, friendly, and experienced. My guests commented that the drinks were great and any drink they asked for he was able to make. Splurging on the LED bar for him to work at versus a regular table setup was so worth it to give a polished look—everyone commented that my party was on P-Diddy level lol 😂 . Highly recommend !

I booked With A Twist for my housewarming event and everything was absolutely amazing from beginning to end. The team was super responsive during the booking process. Tiesha was my mixologist for the evening and she was great! Everyone complimented her hospitality and how good the drinks were. She brought everything needed to mix drinks for the event. Will definitely be using this team again in the future.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our pricing is simple and fair and comes standard with all professional bartending equipment needed to execute any event.
We offer a variety of services such as custom menus, shopping lists and event shopping services so that all you have to do is show up and have a great time at your event.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We like to send out a questionnaire or schedule a conference call to capture all the details and/or any special requests that our clients may have. We have found that having this discussion helps to deliver the perfect experience. If needed, we can schedule an in person meet and greet when we are creating signature cocktails for their event or when we need to meet with their event planner. For us, it’s always customer service first!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
All of our staff are TIPS certified. The manager is an ABRA DC Managers License Holder and the company carries a $2M liquor liability insurance policy.
