Central Air Conditioning Installation or Replacement
We initially came to thumbtack to find someone that could diagnose our problem with lack of airflow upstairs. He came to me one late evening and noticed immediately what was wrong with my system. He noticed that I needed a new furnace for my unit. I had an old 2 ton unit and he informed me that I needed a 4 ton energy efficient unit to get max airflow. He came in and installed my unit in like 3 hours when initially he said 6 to 8 hours. He was also reasonable with price. After the unit was installed, he noticed that two of my upstairs ducts were either separated or not there. I will get an estimate to that soon. Only problems were: -I usually deal with contractors who have contracts with customers. Ray only used invoices. -Communication could be excessive sometimes but he wanted to be in constant communication with changes. -The old furnace was left by my dumpster. I informed Ray that we don’t like added trash and equipment added to our dumpster area. But, the furnace was gone by the next morning. Overall, Ray is the right person for your AC needs!! And he has the experience to back it up! Will hire again!Jul 16, 2018Verified

Central Air Conditioning Repair or Maintenance
Ray was helpful in making long overdue repairs to our central A/C systems. He fixed drainage issues we were having and attempted to salvage the units to get us through the summer. He followed up regularly as the season got warmer to ensure the units were functioning properly. Unfortunately the units have failed, but Ray has offered solutions to replace them that are reasonable.Jun 23, 2016Verified

Ray was responsive, attentive, efficient and very thorough in explaining and trouble shooting the whole entire repair process of getting my furnace back up and running. When I woke up around 7:30am, my house temperature was 63 degrees and falling. I texted Ray and he responded immediately and was able to get to my home within 30 minutes. Ray explained to me my options of buying the parts to repair my furnace and also eventually getting a new updated furnace. He recommended specific brands to purchase in the near future. However, Ray was able to replace two furnace parts and saved me $2,200 for now. My furnace is 20 plus years old and eventually will be replaced. I will definitely have Ray install a new furnace around tax refund time. At any rate, when I got home from my night class my house was nice and cost at the normal 71 degrees. I am so thankful that I found Ray on thumbtack.com and would recommend him to family and friends! Thank you so much and God bless you Ray!Nov 30, 2017Verified
