What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a part of graphic design groups online, as well as staying in discussions with other designers who have been doing the work far longer than I have.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I would sit for hours in my room, creating comic book characters, and drawing the objects around me. I also have a heart for all things techie, so I combined the two and voila - graphic design! The same is true on the music side. I began on sax, and now play keys, which led to music production on a laptop.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Primarily logo designs, flyers, presentations, music beds and track compositions.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
The more input, the better. Have a real sense of what you want in a design, rather than being generic.
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
That it is a real skill that takes a lifetime to master, because there will always be innovative tools that come along to push the design envelope.
