I pursued my passion and received my certification in Interior Decorating and Organizing, and in 2019 and started my own home decor consulting business in 2020. I love indoor and outdoor spaces, whether it’s creating a vision for the contractors, space planning, home decor shopping, or DIY projects. My expertise is creating spaces with a warm, lived in vibe. Lavish comfort rocks! This service by far exceeded anything I could have done on my own. La Toya was responsive and made a visit the day I posted my project. She was clear on outlining her service, AND she delivered!!!! We are soo happy with our small, functional entrance!

Toya installed peel-and-stick wallpaper for our child's nursery and we are so happy with the result. We tried to DIY and quickly realized we were out of our depths, and Toya was there to help and take the stress off of us. The nursery is now finished and perfect, thanks to Toya! We'd definitely use her again for other home needs :)

Moving away from home to attend boarding school is such a huge transition, so I wanted my daughter to have a well designed dorm room with all the comforts of home.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My prices are Lavishly Comfortable. Their is a consultation fee for every job. If you choose to allow Lavish Comfort LLC to transform your home the consultation fee will be deducted from your service charge. For every space transforming there is a standard service fee. I work with all budgets to accommodate both charges. I stay within the budget given and provide professional recommendations for reasonable accommodations or adjustments to meet your desired needs.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Every client receives a 1hr consultation. I prefer to come to the client’s home to get a good feel of the space but is also offered virtually to accommodate the client. The consultation fee is charged prior to the visit to confirm your appointment. We discuss style, color, rooms to be transformed, budget, timelines, scope of work, etc. After the initial consultation I provide an estimate to present to the client. The client is given the overall budget (either quoted by client or suggested by Lavish Comfort LLC), service fees, and materials cost. Once the client accepts the estimate, the invoice is created and a start date scheduled. A deposit of the material cost and service fee are required to begin work.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am self taught and have a natural knack for design. I continue to educate myself on the lasted trends so I can make the appropriate connections to my clients. With my eye for design, and attention to detail, I will help my clients achieve the lavishly comfortable look with cost-effective services and items. My area of expertise include an intimate knowledge of colors, patterns, texture, styles and the ability to interpret the latest décor trends to benefit my client. I have working relationships with general contractors, electricians, handyman, realtors, landscapers, and professional organizers. These relationships afford a range of services offered with confidence your desired outcome is achieved.
