FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is transparent and compliant with Maryland law. • Process Serving: Flat rate per serve, which includes multiple attempts, regular updates, and a notarized affidavit of service once completed. Rush or same-day services are available for an additional fee, but you’ll always be notified in advance. • Notary Services (including Remote Online Notarization): Maryland allows up to $30 per notarial act, plus $8 per additional signature and $4 per signature on additional copies. I’ll always confirm the number of signatures and any witness needs before quoting your total.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
For process serving, I start by confirming service details (names, addresses, and any court deadlines), then keep you updated throughout the attempts until the job is complete. After service, I prepare and have the affidavit notarized, then send it to you electronically for filing. For notary services, I verify your identity, review the document, and guide you through signing correctly. If you don’t have a digital copy, I can help locate or format one. Once notarized, you’ll receive your completed document as a secure PDF for download or submission.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I’ve been a professional process server for over 5 years, handling court filings, legal notices, and affidavits. I’m also a commissioned Maryland notary and certified for remote online notarization (RON). My background includes document verification, client communication, and ensuring legal compliance with every service.
