Introduction: I think like everybody else, I have my own way of writing, of making things work. There's no real right or wrong way. Some people are more traditional, some are more staid, some a little more abstract. It's all about what fits you and your needs. Just like teaching: everybody has their own style in teaching, to get across what they're trying to teach to others. Creativity. To be able to think on the subject, draft it on paper (I'm old fashioned that way), then type it up and send it out. I like to consult with people in order to find out what they want, what they need.

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

    Been a passion of mine since high school. I was an avid reader then, so why not write my own stuff? Why not help others? I've done it since then, continue doing it. It's fun, it's challenging, and I can learn new things every day. It's why I like dealing with my customers, and I charge less.

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

    Ghost writing. Administrative, data entry...technical writing, even coming up with a synopsis or syllabus...I do resumes once in a while, or offer consultation. For example, a person may say they correspond mainly through email, I can tell them that they are proficient in electronic communication, typing so many words per minute. it's all about the radical reinterpretation of the text. How people perceive what they say and hear.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

    Compare. Study. Ask for a sample or two, if you want, even if it's just a blurb. If you want to just get a free consultation, or even some input, ask for it outright. I won't waste your time, so please don't do me that way. I take everything on a case by case basis, so remember: you're asking for a service, I'm paying to quote you. Be honest.
