FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We are fair and will match a valid written estimate for the same job and materials. We bill in 15 minute increments. That means if we work 1 hour and 10 minutes, you will be billed for 1 hour and 15 minutes--not the typical company rate of 2 hours. Trying to be fair and provide value for our customers' hard earned money!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First, we identify the customers' needs / desires. Second, we make a plan based on the customers' needs to begin the work: Get started right away or Provide an estimate or a written contract / permit, etc? Create a schedule to do the work. Once job is complete: Walk the customer through the project Answer any questions the customer has Accept payment and request a review of the service provided
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I started in the electrical trade in 1997. I went through a five year Apprenticeship and have worked in new construction of schools, government buildings, office buildings, and many commercial environments. I have also done electrical work at NIH & NIST laboratories, clean rooms, and office remodels. I have had extensive training to maintain my licensing and skills. Some courses include but are not limited to: NEC code classes, Arc Flash training, troubleshooting, OSHA 10 & 30 certifications, etc.
